Who we are

Telugu Jyothi (తెలుగు జ్యోతి) is the magazine of the Telugu Fine Arts Society (తెలుగు కళా సమితి). This policy covers this website, including comments on articles. Use of the site is described in theterms of service.

Signing in to comment

A reader can read the magazine without an account. To post a comment, the reader signs in with Google or Facebook. From that sign-in we store the name, the email address, which provider was used, and that provider’s account id.

Other readers see the name on a comment after an editor approves it. They do not see the email address. Editors see the email address while they decide whether to show the comment or keep it hidden.

A comment stays hidden until an editor approves it. An editor may leave it hidden.

The site keeps a sign-in cookie in the browser so the reader stays signed in. We do not sell this information.

Asking for deletion

A reader can ask us to delete the stored name, email address, provider account id, and the comments posted with that sign-in. Write to editor@telugujyothi.com. The steps are on thedata deletion page.
